5 Steps to control who can comment on your Instagram post

At times when people start to target a particular individual on Instagram, it becomes hard for the user.

In such cases, Instagram has a beautiful service that can help users to minimize comments from the social public.

While at the time of the SSR case here in India many families and Bollywood celebrities used this method to stop random people from the public to comment on their Instagram posts.

Here are 5 simple steps to control who can comment on your Instagram posts i.e. photos or videos from your mobile device.

1.      Login or open the Instagram application on your mobile phone and tap on the profile picture at the bottom right corner of the screen.

2.      Tap on the hamburger menu at the top right corner of the mobile screen and select "settings" and now select "privacy".

3.      Now select "comments" and here you get two options "allow comments from" and "block comments from".

4.      Select "everyone>" at the right side as when one selects on allow comments from it doesn't go ahead.

5.      Now choose “your followers” so you have complete privacy from strangers who you think won't post good comments on your Instagram.

Also you can block a few specific users on instagram from commenting on your instagram posts. Select the option blocks comments from and enter the persons instagram user id and they won’t be able to comment on your posts again.

Another way you can stop people from commenting on your posts is by giving relevant keywords that you don't want on your post.

Log in to your Instagram account from your laptop or desktop and tap on the profile picture icon present at the top right corner.

Select "settings" and now select "Privacy and security", scroll down and select "edit comment settings"

Here you can enter the comments or keywords that you won't like to appear on your comments box and submit it.
