Language for your Facebook Interface
Facebook
offers 111 different languages used worldwide depending upon the number of
users.
They have provided this language option to
their users with different demography that use Facebook.
Using these simple settings one is easily
able to change the default language on the application and keep the language
they want.
This article provides a couple of steps
that describe well to change the Facebook language on mobile and desktop
devices.
To change the Facebook Language on Mobile devices follow these steps
Login or signup with Facebook.com1on the application present on your mobile phone.
Select
the "Hamburger menu" present on the top right side of the
device interface.
Now
what you need do is scroll down a bit little and selects "settings and
privacy".
In settings and privacy, there is an option
"language" that allows users to change the default language
and use another.
Select the "language"
option and change the language you desire to have on Facebook whenever you
access it.
It
takes a couple of seconds to change the language you selected to have it on
your Facebook application.
After completing this setting one is able
to see all the posts on their feed in the selected language even when the
published posts are in different languages.
To change the Facebook Language on Desktop devices to follow these steps
1. Open Facebook.com2on desktop or laptop and select the "inverted triangle" on the top right corner of the interface.
2. Select "settings and privacy".
3. Now select "language" the last option present here.
4. Here the user gets several options to change the
language.
The first option
provides the user to select the language he wants to see on Facebook posts,
titles, buttons, and other types of texts that appear on Facebook.
Select the "edit" option present in front of it and from the language, the menu selects the language available on the list.
"Save" the changes and the language on Facebook is changed.
The third option present on this interface provides the user to have settings to translate other posts languages into the language he wants.
One can provide here the language name he would like to translate the other languages in to.
Also, it offers an option to choose the languages the user does not want the post to get translated.
This is because you already know a couple of languages and
do not need it to translate as you can read them.
For example herein In this case I have selected "Marathi and English" as two languages that I do not want to translate as I am able to read both languages.
Also here the user gets an option to select the language that one does not want to get translated automatically.
