How many students use social media in lock-down for study?

Since it is the age of all the internet and social media education has become much easier using the various free applications to study and learn different things on social media.

Since we are engaged in social media for at least 2 hours who work and 4 to 5 hours who are teen especially students it has become necessary to make use of social media for their career growth.

Youtube is a great source for free tutorials and classes to go through to learn at least the basic concepts and get ready for the battle.

Social media makes the warriors practice more and bleed less in battles as a form of the well of information.

But according to a 2020 survey report from Statista, a large number of American teenagers used Snapchat almost 34 % and TikTok was ranked second with almost 29 % of usage by teenagers.

Now shockingly this both apps are more related to entertainment type of things a lot and no or very less in education.

The same report says about 56 % of American teens connect to the internet and social media several times a day while 24 % of them constantly connected to social media throughout the day.

But since its lockdown worldwide and many schools and colleges are not open yet it has become necessary for students to connect with their schools and friends with an online video call from various applications available on social media.

So for study, all students expect fewer sections in society worldwide to use social media to connect to various classes, information sources, and online lectures to proceed with the school and college syllabus.

Also, I do observe my niece and nephews using the zoom calls on mobile phones of parents to connect to the online class in lockdown.

Besides online classes, many are now just interested in entertainment type of videos as it is a normal human tendency to watch more entertainment than one that makes the brain and its thinking ability daunt.
